7 Reasons Why I LOVE Eat More Produce

If you live in Orlando and have not yet heard about
or visited Eat More Produce,
you are missing out!!
And with summer in full tilt
and the season of produce being upon us,
I've decided to share the reasons
why I LOVE shopping at Eat More Produce.

1.) The atmosphere.
Usually hustling and bustling with other
veggie and fruit loving folk, and always jamming
to music that makes you (or at least me)
want to get your dance (and sing) on,
this little diamond in the ruff
is just a fun place to shop.
It makes a big city feel like a farm town.
It's a produce brotherhood, really.

2.) The owners and employees

These folks are fabulous. Always engaging.
Interested in being kind
and helping you find what you need.
They know and love their customers well.

Resident Brit: Andy.
Troy, ay?
Corlyn looks like she has baked
this bread fresh just for you.
She didn't. But that doesn't matter.
She holds it like she means it.

3.) The wine!!

A sprawling selection.
Lots of "2 for" deals.
My favorite of which is the 2 for $10.
Of course.

4.) Compari tomatoes

They taste fabulous.
Great for salads, sandwiches, salsa, and cooking.
Usually $1.99 per package or 2 for $3.
Beats $4.99 for 1 pack everywhere else
right smack in the noggin.

4.) The chance to win a beach comber bike
with every purchase you make!

One day I will take a pic
that looks a little like this:
"Congrats Melonie!!!! You've won your bike!!!" :)

5.) The prices

Yummy nuts, dried fruits, and other granola
(both literally and figuratively) type items for cheap!
A mixture of green, yellow,
orange, and red bell peppers.
Bag of 6 for $1.99? Fo reals, yo.
Best prices around!!
Gluten-free heaven.
Less expensive than anywhere else.
Let's be honest. It's kind of redonk to pay $6
for a box of healthy pasta.
So don't.
Happy Quinoa everyone!

Other favorite purchases of mine
include a giant vat of
Extra Virgin Olive Oil for $15
(that I bought last summer and am still using),
and a ginormous burlap sack full of rice
for $12ish that is at least 9 months in to use
and still has rice in it.

6.) The randomness.

You really never know what you will find
on your next trip to EMP.
One day, I got great hanging plants
to decorate my front entry way.
Another, imagine my squealing when I saw
that they were selling little bitty succulent plants.
And yet another,
herbs for me to plant in my new garden.
Again, squeal.

7.) The produce!

They live up to their name by providing
a vast assortment of quality leafy items,
tasty citrus and berries and melons
and all of the other things for which
I don't have a category.
{Ginger root, where does that go?}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Troy & Andy probably think
that I go in to the store
4 times per week to up my chances of winning
the monthly drawing for the beach cruiser.
This is about 10% true.
Okay, 25%.
But mostly, I just need a lemon or some feta.
Or maybe sometimes,
it's that I just want to go to
a place where everybody knows my name....
Cheers. To Eat More Produce.
