Yachts, Manatees, and Barfing.

Granny and her crew came in to town a few weeks ago.
Here are some of the highlights of our Florida staycation.

Paddleboating at Deleon Springs.

Absolutely fantastic pancakes.
Almost worth the 2 hour wait...

You make them at your table.

We parkhopped at Universal.
Islands of Adventure was TOTALLY better.

The Harry Potter stuff was awesome.
True confession: I have never read the books or seen the movie.
I fully expect to lose friends over this...

It was right about now that I vowed to never ride anything like this again.
I didn't actually throw up.
But it totally would have been better if I did...
at least that's some form of relief.
Then we were on to the west coast beaches.

St. Pete Beach was nice.

Sand art.

Ya'll!  We rented a yacht for 2 days for WAY cheaper than a cheap hotel for 6 people.
Airbnb.com.  Check it out!

Fort DeSoto Beach was pretty.
And so was this mermaid that I found.
Check out the stank eye on that girl...

Searching for manatees.
Three Sister's Spring.
Oh, there's the manatee.
We actually got to snorkel with this sweet girl.

The cutest thing to ever grace a wetsuit.
Or a beach ball for that matter.
Late/early Birthday party for the two of us.

We were well fed.  Entertained.  Tan.
And TIRED by the end of the week.
It was so good to have Granny & company here.

And lastly, when did I start only photographing things with my iphone?
I have turned in to one of THOSE people.
This is not good, folks.
