It's Noonday Week~Day 2.

This morning was not glamorous.
Selah and I went to the grocery store.
Typical mom kind of a morning.
No makeup. Flip flops.
But, you know what is glamorous?

These pretty Tiered Hoop Earrings from The Noonday Collection.

They are one of my most loved Noonday pieces.
My second favorite thing about them is that they are 2-toned.
{My photo doesn't capture their brilliance at all...
please see them on the website to see the accurate color.}

They match everything.
Wearing a silver necklace?
Perfect.
Wearing a gold necklace?
Perfect.
Wearing a colored necklace?
Still perfect.

My MOST favorite thing about them is the story that they tell.

These earrings are made from recycled artillery in Ethiopia.

I picture people walking around in a civil war-torn field,
picking up bullet casings and putting them in a basket.

They then melt down the metal and create something good.
That's what I call beauty from ashes, folks.
And I am all about watching God create something beautiful
where something was once broken/ravaged/tarnished and barren.

The majority of the artisans that create this jewelry are HIV positive.
Along with a fair wage, they also receive healthcare and literacy training.

We have several pieces that are made in this fashion at Noonday.
And, the fall launch is coming NEXT WEEK with added goodies in this family.

The Ethiopian Tiered Hoop earrings can be yours for $36.
Or better yet, let's talk about having a trunk show.
You could earn them for FREE as a part of your hostess rewards,
and share the Noonday love with your family and friends.
Seems like a win/win to me!
